A steady stream of residents turned out on a sunny Saturday to pick up their free PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) materials.
The PPE handout was a reusable Estero branded shopping bag filled with an N95 mask (made in the USA), reusable Estero branded mask and hand sanitizer bottle.
Also included in each bag were brochures from the Village’s Community Development Department describing the types of projects that need permits, flood information, and a list of Lee County COVID-19 testing sites.
These materials were handed out to the residents visiting the Goodwill Industries store in Estero or the Estero United Methodist Church.
Many community volunteers helped make this event a success by compiling the bags as well as handing them out to residents. Thanks to all who participated.
These PPE handouts were provided through the CARES Act and are meant to encourage mask and hand sanitizer use during the continuing COVID pandemic.
