Estero Marsh Preserve

The land management plan for Estero Marsh Preserve has been updated to show the work that has been completed on the site during the past 10 years. The plan will be the topic of discussion at a meeting 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, at the Lakes Regional Library, 15290 Bass Road, Fort Myers.

Estero Marsh Preserve consists of 244 acres acquired through the Conservation 20/20 program and located within the Estero Bay watershed.

The plan describes the preserves and past restoration work. No change to management of the preserve is planned. After public review, the plan will be presented to the Lee Board of County Commissioners for final approval.

The management plan will be available for review from April 27 through May 15 at the South County Regional Library, 21100 Three Oaks Parkway. You may also find it online at: http://www.leegov.com/conservation2020/documents/LSP/EMP.pdf.
