The party starts at 11 a.m. and goes to 2 p.m., Saturday, November 11, at the Estero Community Park.  The celebration will feature patriotic concerts by Estero’s Lindsey Graham and the charming New Horizons of Southwest Florida Choir.

There will be free hot dogs, chips and cookies; an American classic & muscle car show, and a Kids Zone with bounce house and face painting.

Dr. Debi Lux, Founder of the Collier Lee Honor Flights, will describe their mission to transport local veterans to Washington, DC, to visit the memorials dedicated to honor their service.   This will be followed by recognizing and honoring Goldstar Families and local veterans.

There will be a presentation of the military branch of colors by the Estero High School ROTC, and the Estero Fire Rescue and Lee County Sherriff’s Office will be on hand to greet visitors.

The program will end with a 21 Gun Salute, playing of Taps, and an American pop music concert by Lindsey Graham.

Residents who have American flags to be retired may bring them to the park that day for proper care.

Plan on bringing your family, friends and neighbors, along with your lawn chairs or blankets.  The park is located at 9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd.
