community workshopsThe Village of Estero will be holding two community workshops to gather input from residents regarding the capital improvement program (CIP).  The CIP outlines the Village’s future capital projects and expenditures.

The two public workshops will be held in the Council Chambers at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 5, and 6:30 p.m., Thursday, June 7, 2018.  Village staff will be conducting these informal workshops both in the morning and evening hours in an attempt to allow as many residents as possible to participate in the budget planning process.

These workshops are being conducted as an integral part of the Village’s preparation of the capital improvement program which identifies future projects and purchases.

Florida Statue 200.065 provides the timeline for budget planning which begins in July for the Village.  This is one of the first steps for the 2018-2019 Fiscal Year budget, which will be adopted in September.

Public input is always welcome.  For those who are not available to attend one of these workshops, you may contact the Village at any time of the year to make an appointment to provide your suggestions.

The Council Chambers are located on the first floor of the Village Hall, 9401 Corkscrew Palms Circle, near the entrance to the Estero Community Park.
