10-acre “River Oaks” property

Council will start their meeting at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, and will be asked to take a final vote in order to proceed with the purchase of the 10-acre “River Oaks” property at the east end of Broadway Avenue.

They will then address contracts for the demolition of deteriorating structures on the Estero on the River property, Williams Road bike/pedestrian improvements, Ben Hill Griffin Parkway improvements and additional US 41 landscape maintenance.

Council will also conduct a workshop on the Village of Estero northern monument sign concepts.

Meetings are held in the Council Chambers, Village Hall, 9401 Corkscrew Palms Circle, near the entrance to the Estero Park.

Residents may view the meeting here and provide public comment by utilizing the eComment Card on the Village website.  Comments must be received by noon one day before the actual meeting and they will be distributed to the Council but will not be read at the meeting.
