On Earth Day, April 22, 2018, Kathy Ball, Senior Supervisor, Lee County Parks and Recreation, presented a plaque to Tom Patricca, President, Rotary Club of Estero, for the club’s monetary contribution of $4,000 toward the purchase of 50 native trees for the park. The trees were planted on March 14, 2018, and included 10 sabal palms, 26 live oaks, 10 bald cypress and 4 shady lady black olive trees.
