Representatives for Sprouts Farmers Market were requesting approval for their design for a 29,896 square-foot grocery store, associated parking infrastructure and monument sign.
The applicant has made a number of changes to enhance the design of their building, removing some of the horizontal lines from the original design and adding embellishments, arches and parapets, as well as enhancing the landscape design. They also will provide a shaded seating area outside the building. (Presentation)
Sprouts is located at 19990 South Tamiami Trail, west of US-41 in the Estero Grande Subdivision.
Public Comment: One resident spoke in favor of this development.
The Board approved this application with conditions.
Representatives from Genova were requesting approval for their proposed Via Coconut Point median landscape plan extending south from Corkscrew Road to the future access for Estero Community Park. The Village landscape consultant had reviewed this application. (Presentation)
