Sunday Farmers’ Market
Every Sunday, 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. – Experience a quaint Farmer’s Market in the historic settlement of the Koreshans. Buy goods including fresh veggies and fruits, local honey and seafood, unique crafts and handmade goods, fresh crepes and kettle corn and more. Park admission is free for the Farmer’s Market.
Guided Kayak Tours of Estero River and Mound Key
Voted BEST in SWFL. Join the Florida Master Naturalist on a historic paddle to explore the unique ecosystems and history of the Estero River, Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve and Mound Key. All equipment is included. Reservations required. Call College of Life Foundation (239) 992-2184. Also, canoes available for rent at the Ranger Station.
Weekend Historic Koreshan Settlement Walking Tour
Every Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 a.m. – Join a guided tour of the historic Koreshan Settlement. Explore structures and gardens of the 19th century religious settlement and learn about these idealistic pioneers. The walking tour is about an hour and a half. Guided tours are $2 for adults and $1 for children under 6 years of age. Tickets are available for purchase at the Ranger Station.
