As you probably already know, Estero live streams all of its official meetings.  Once recorded, the meetings become available online on the Village’s website so they can be viewed at everyone’s convenience anywhere in the world.

live streamsThe Council Chambers has a state-of-the-art audio/video system in an operational control room in the back of the Chambers.  This system includes controls for 4 video cameras, a speaker system, microphones and monitors for each Councilmember, as well as a couple of monitors for the audience.

In addition to in-person presentations, the system also allows the live broadcast of all multimedia materials presented to the Councilmembers.

Volunteers are an important part of the team that brings these broadcasts to you, and the Village is asking to have a few more men and women to assist in making this happen.

The Village would like to have 5 or 6 volunteers so that each person would only have to volunteer their services once a month.  No prior experience is necessary since training will be provided, though some basic computer skills are recommended.

The Village Council meets at 9:30 a.m. the first and third Wednesday of each month.  The Design Review Board meets at 5:30 p.m. the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, and the Planning & Zoning Board meets at 5:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month.
