University Highlands
The Board will start their meeting at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, with a public information meeting for Henning RMS located at 20771 & 20741 S Tamiami Trail. The applicant is requesting to rezone this 2-acre parcel to permit a 16,000 square foot building to be used as the Henning RMS Design Center.
The Board will then conduct 4 public hearings.
University Highlands is requesting a development order for two, one-story commercial buildings with 7,800 square feet each for restaurant and retail use. This property is located on Ben Hill Griffin Parkway, north of Everblades Parkway North, and east of Tiburon Way.
Celebree Estero is requesting to change the use of the existing Goodwill Store on the north side of Corkscrew Road east of Three Oaks from retail to daycare. Their plans include changing the color scheme of the building, removing the loading zone and replacing it with approximately 5,258 square feet of playground.
Estero Townhomes is requesting a rezoning for a 21.4-acre site at the northeast corner of Corkscrew Road and Sandy Lane. This rezoning request was reviewed by the Board on July 9 and was continued at the applicant’s request to make revisions based on the Board’s comments.
Estero Entertainment District is requesting a development order for the Village owned property located at 9000 Williams Road.
