In observance of a public meeting in the Council Chambers, the FEMA Disaster Recovery Center will be temporarily closed starting at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 13. It will reopen on Wednesday, December 14 at 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Disaster Recovery Center is located in the Council Chambers first floor, 9401 Corkscrew Palms Circle near the entrance to Estero Park.
Hours: The Disaster Recovery Center is open daily from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. except Sundays. They will close for Christmas December 23 – 26 and New Year’s December 30 – January 2, 2023.
Please note: the Disaster Recovery Center staff are seeing many people who were originally denied benefits from FEMA. When they come into the Disaster Recovery Center to work individually with FEMA staff, they have found ways to modify their application to open opportunities for assistance – where once there were none.
