Council Districts effective March 7, 2023
Four of the Village Council districts are up for election this year under the Village Charter. Districts 3, 4, and 7 were unopposed; as a result, those seats will be filled by:
District 3 Vice Mayor and Councilmember elect Jon McLain
District 4 Councilmember elect Lori Fayhee
District 7 Councilmember elect George Zalucki
Congratulations to these Councilmembers.
Residents throughout the Village can vote for the District 5 candidate of their choice, Gary Israel or Rafael Lopez, regardless of which district you live in.
Under Florida law, all Vote-by-Mail Ballot requests expired at the end of 2022. If you plan to vote by mail in this or any other upcoming election, you must submit a new request.
Here is a link to the Lee County elections website dedicated to providing your voter registration information and here is a link where you may request a vote-by-mail ballot. Or, you may call (239) 533-8683 to submit a new request. The deadline to request a Vote by Mail Ballot for this election is Saturday, February 25. The election is March 7.
