Estero Country Club pickleball renovation

The applicant is requesting a limited development order to renovate an existing tennis court into 4 pickleball courts and relocate the impacted tennis court at the Estero Country Club located on US 41 just north of Estero Parkway.
There are currently 5 existing tennis courts and 2 pickleball courts. The 2 pickleball courts will remain, with 4 more being added. Only 1 tennis court will be converted and moved; the other 4 courts will remain. Court play will end at 8:30 p.m.
They will also be requesting a parking deviation.

The applicant is seeking development order approval to build 154 townhomes, private on-site recreational amenities and public amenities located on the northwest corner of Corkscrew Road and Sandy Lane.
They plan to have an 8-foot fence with enhanced buffer along the north side of the property, a 6-foot wall with enhanced landscaping along Corkscrew Road, a pocket park adjacent to a lake with 2 fountains, amenity center with pool and dog park.
There will be two gated entrances, one of Sandy Lane and the other on Design Parc Lane They plan to construct a 10-foot sidewalk along Sandy Lane and a meandering 6- to 8-foot sidewalk along Corkscrew Road.

The applicant is seeking a development order amendment to allow changes to their plan for a 20-acre property at the southwest corner of Corkscrew Road and Via Coconut Point.
The applicant is requesting revisions to the master concept plan, pattern book and deviations, but the total number of 330 multifamily units, 29,600 square feet of commercial use and 10,000 square feet for a church or alternative commercial use will remain the same.
They will have a dog park, and the landscape plan includes enhanced landscaping around the lake and median landscaping down to Williams Road.
They plan to start construction on Phase 1 in April 2025. Phase 2 will include the two commercial buildings in the main entrance.
Estero Sports Park

Michael Comparato, Vieste, Carlos Perez, PLA Principal Perez Planning + Design, LLC, and Cristobal Betancourt, PLA, AICP/Weston and Sampson presented an updated concept plan of the Sports Park Campus Master Plan following the two resident meetings conducted in November and presentation to Council on December 4.
The site is approximately 80 acres which will eventually be shared by the Village, Estero High School, County and residents. The property is located adjacent to the Estero High School and Estero’s Entertainment District on Williams Road.
The Sports Park will provide opportunities for numerous sports activities including field hockey, football, softball, baseball, lacrosse, tennis, and pickleball. There will be a path around the perimeter of the lake with a boardwalk and picnic pavilions throughout the park.
There will be a 3 ½-acre area devoted to community events, a playground with splash pad and restrooms. There will be a multi-story 300-yard driving range.
The main entrance will be on Via Coconut Point, with another entrance on Williams Road.
The phasing of the project will be multi-dimensional, working with the county and school district, and will start with the infrastructure, gated entries and monument signs.

The applicant was seeking Board review of the building design, architecture and colors for this proposed 4 story 111 room hotel to be located in Coconut Point Mall south of the movie theater on the northwest corner of Via Coconut Point. The property is currently being used as a parking lot.
The building will be stucco with stone panels incorporating transitions to the height of the building.
The applicant was asked to bring back photos of other portions of the Coconut Point Mall to determine how the colors work with the rest of the Mall.
