Council will start their meeting at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, with an introduction to Steffanie Pierce and Gulf Shore Opera.

They will then consider a one-year contract for professional state legislative and executive branch lobbying services, disposal of surplus computers, and a utility expansion design and permitting contract for Estero Bay Village, Sunny Groves and Cypress Bend.

A contract for the construction plan and permitting for two Village of Estero monument signs will be addressed.  The first two signs will be placed at Estero’s southern boundaries, with one at US 41 and the other at Three Oaks Parkway.

Council will then be asked to approve a contract, via piggybacking on the Lee County School District’s contract, to provide architectural and engineering services for additional athletic facilities at the proposed Pre K-8 school on Three Oaks Parkway.

They will then address a contract to obtain additional water monitoring data to better understand water levels and water quality around Estero, and then conduct the first reading of an ordinance pertaining to the Via Coconut rezoning.

Council will then conduct the second public hearings adopting the ad valorem taxes and the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 budget.
