The Village of Estero will be holding two Public Information Meetings to provide updates on the progress related to the Estero Sports Park and Village of Estero branding & placemaking. The Public Information Meetings will be held on Tuesday, October 29 and Tuesday, November 19 from5:00PM-7:00PM at the Estero Community Church located at 21115 Design Parc Ln, Estero, FL 33928. The formal presentation will start at 5:30 PM.
Estero Sports Park Design:
The Village of Estero secured a long-term lease on approximately 53 acres of Lee County School District property located west of Estero High School with the intent of developing it into a sports park. The Village has engaged Perez Design to lead the master planning efforts for the Estero Sports Park Project.
The Perez team will be providing updates on the master planning effort, including presenting their sports park designs. The public with have opportunities to meet with the project team and Village of Estero Staff to discuss the project.
Branding & Placemaking:
In association with the Sports Park project, the Village is working with Vitalink to build and expand the Village’s brand by creating a sense of identity and place for unique areas within the Village such as the Estero Sports Park and the Village’s property along the Estero River. Vitalink will provide updates to the public on their branding/placemaking efforts and solicit input on their recommendations.
