Thought you were signed up to vote by mail but didn’t receive a ballot for the recent Estero Village Council election?

The reason is requests for vote-by-mail ballots expire. 10,688 Estero residents voted by mail in the November 2018 general election. The Lee County Supervisor of Elections only mailed 3,819 ballots for the March Estero election.

That means almost 7,000 vote-by-mail requests had expired.

The next elections are in 2020 but the time to sign up is now to get those 2020 primary and general election ballots. The place to do that is www.Lee.Vote where you may print the form and mail it in.

Don’t miss out – make sure your vote counts.
