West Bay Dog Park
The applicant is proposing to develop 6 pickle ball courts, 1 bocce ball court, a restroom facility, a dog park to accommodate large and small dogs, infrastructure and a parking area at the west side of the entrance to the community. The parking area will be grass.
The West Bay Club is located off of Williams Road.
The Board approved this application for a limited development order with the condition that sound deadening padding be added along the courtside of the 9 foot fence around the perimeter of the courts to deaden the sound for the adjoining neighbor.
Phoenix at Estero
The applicant was seeking Board approval of a Development Order for construction of a 124-unit assisted living/memory care facility and associated parking and infrastructure.
The west side of the building will be devoted to memory care while the rest of the building will be assisted living units. There will be a shuttle bus, a fountain in the lake and several outdoor amenities for the residents and their children and grandchildren.
This property is located at 10251 Arcos Avenue, north and east of the intersection of Three Oaks Parkway and Corkscrew Road.
The Board approved this application with the recommendation that the lighting at the crosswalk be further examined by staff.
