Public Hearing Estero Dialysis at Corkscrew Palms Estero Dialysis at Corkscrew Palms was requesting a development order for their proposed 7,226 ± square foot medical office building with porte-cochere at 9431 Corkscrew Palms Circle, approximately 300 feet east of the Estero Village Hall. They added a public seating area on the northwest corner of their building and removed some of the parking spaces to allow for the porte-cochere, but still have 48 spaces when only 29 spaces are required. Public Hearing Springhill Suites Marriott The applicant presented their plans for a 5-story, 100-room hotel located at 10370 Corkscrew Common Drive adjacent to Embassy Suites. Plans call for a fully modern hotel, including double queen rooms and a small bar. Amenities will include a fitness room, bike racks, patio with fire pit and pool wrapped with landscape, as well as enhanced landscaping on the property. Council interviewed board candidates and approved a contract for US 41 landscape design project on February 21, 2018
Board Interviews Council conducted interviews with 11 applicants for the Planning & Zoning Board and the Design Review Board. Additional interviews will be conducted at the March 7 meeting. Action Items US 41 Landscape Beautification Project Council approved a contract with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. to proceed with the landscape design work for the medians of US 41 from the northern boundary of Estero to just south of Coconut Road.
