Estero on the River public meeting held on September 12, with second scheduled for September 30, 2020
Village consultant Brian Canin is conducting these meetings to encourage input from residents regarding what they want to see happen with this property. The 62-acre Estero on the River property is the land that faces the northeast corner of Corkscrew Road and US 41, encompasses a ¼ mile frontage of Estero River, and extends north to Judith Lane and east to the railroad tracks. Canin explained that there are different characteristics on either side of the river. Longitude 81 Apartments and Hilton Garden Inn to address Design Review Board on September 16, 2020
The Board will start their meeting at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, with a public hearing for Longitude 81 Apartments, located west of Ben Hill Griffin Parkway and north of the Miromar Outlets Mall. That will be followed with a workshop for Hilton Garden Inn, located on the corner of Via Villagio and Sweetwater Ranch Boulevard, just east of the Estero Fire Rescue Coconut Point.
