Residents will be able to dispose of household chemical waste safely and responsibly from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Wednesday.  Items will not be accepted either before or after that time period. The Village of Estero’s debris hauler, CrowderGulf, will be making its final debris removal pass through the neighborhoods along Broadway Ave. West on Friday, January 20.  Please place any Hurricane Ian related construction and demolition debris at your curb prior to January 20 to ensure it is picked up. After January 20, there are several options if any residents still require assistance removing trash or debris from their property. The following work activities are scheduled to occur, however unforeseen underground conditions and weather may affect this schedule. Beginning at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, the entrance lanes to Bella Terra will be closed and two-way traffic will use the exit lanes.  Crews anticipate work to reconstruct the entrance lanes to be completed Monday, January 16, 2023.  Once the entrance is reconstructed, traffic will be switched to use the entrance lanes and the exit lanes will be closed for reconstruction. The Village of Estero’s debris hauler, Crowder Gulf, will be pausing debris pick up over the holidays.  Operations will pause from Thursday, December 22 to Sunday January 1.  Debris pick up in areas impacted by Hurricane Ian storm surge will resume on Monday, January 2. Note:  Only hurricane-related debris will be picked up by Crowder Gulf.  Any non-hurricane related debris should be included in your regular residential pick up.
