The Board started their meeting by electing Anthony Gargano Vice-Chair of the Planning, Zoning & Design Board. Public Hearing Milan Villas Milan Villas The Board then conducted a public hearing for Milan Villas which plans a community of 44 single-family attached one-story homes.  Each unit will have three bedrooms, two baths and two car garages with a firewall separating the units. At the start of the meeting, it was announced that the Board’s vice-chair Marlene Naratil has submitted her letter of resignation from the Board.  Her home was devastated by Hurricane Ian, so she is moving from Estero. Public Hearings AT&T monopole location The first public hearing addressed a special exception to allow a 100-foot-tall AT&T wireless telecommunications facility on the Bonita Springs-Estero Elks Lodge property at 3231 Coconut Road. The Planning, Zoning and Design Board meeting scheduled for Sept. 27, 2022 has been cancelled due to anticipated inclement weather. Public Hearings Riverwoods Plantation The applicant was requesting a special exception in order to add 4 pickleball courts on the south side of their existing tennis courts.  Riverwoods Plantation is a 55+ mobile home park with 640 homes located west of US 41 and north of Broadway West. Arcos Executive Office The Board will start their meeting at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, with three public hearings. The first will be for Riverwoods Plantation’s request for pickleball courts.  Riverwoods Plantation is located at approximately one miles west of US 41 and north of Broadway West. South Fork Grille/El Nido Modern Mexican Restaurant The Board conducted a public hearing for South Fork Grille/El Nido Modern Mexican Restaurant which was requesting an expansion of outdoor alcoholic beverage services at their restaurants in Coconut Point.
