Fifth Third Bank
The Board conducted a public information meeting for the Fifth Third Bank at Miromar Outlets Mall.
They are proposing to build a 1900 sq. ft. bank branch with a VTM drive-through lane at the building and a remote ATM drive-through lane. They are requesting 11 parking spaces. The building will be stucco and stone with barrel tile roof. (Presentation)
The Board recommended the applicant bring samples of the building materials, color charts and the landscaping renderings to the next meeting.
No voting occurs during public information meetings.
Extra Space Storage
The Board then conducted a public hearing for the proposed paint colors for Extra Space Storage at Coconut Point.
They presented colors of warm grey, warm white and green. (Presentation)
Following a discussion by the Board, the applicant requested to continue this application to the next meeting date of January 13, 2021.
Workshop
Village consultants Clarion Associates and Johnson Engineering conducted a workshop on the proposed Land Development Code (LDC) Part 2C.
The LDC, which is required by the state, provides guidelines for all development and re-development in the Village. It addresses the site development standards, natural resources, public facility funding and coordination, and nonconformities.
Part 2C of the LDC focuses on general provisions, administration, and rules of construction, interpretation and measurement. (Presentation)
