The applicant requested adding medical office use as a permitted use to an existing ± 7,000 square foot building. They are proposing a podiatrist office in the building, which formally housed Blockbuster Video and more recently the Athenian Academy School. There will be no changes to the exterior of the building; they will just be remodeling the inside of the building.
The property is located in the Corkscrew Village Shopping Center on the east side of US 41. (Presentation)
The Board recommended approval with conditions. Council will review the request at an upcoming meeting.
