Brian Canin, the Village’s consultant, has conducted one public meeting with a second scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30. Longitude 81 Apartments and Hilton Garden Inn presented to Design Review Board on September 16, 2020

A public hearing was conducted for the Longitude 81 Apartments which was requesting to change the exterior building color from the approved yellow tones to a color scheme of predominately grey.  A representative of apartments presented the Board with several different color schemes for re-painting the buildings. The Board approved the color scheme demonstrating warm grey tones with the doors reflecting the terra cotta colors on the roof. Proclamation Mayor Bill Ribble presents certificate to Finance Director Lisa Griggs Roberson (practicing social distancing).  Council started the meeting by acknowledging that the Government Finance Officers Association presented the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award to the Village of Estero for its comprehensive financial report for the Fiscal Year ending October 1, 2019.  This national award is presented for the highest level of performance in governmental budgeting.
