Estero Historical Society special events in April
The rise and fall of the cattle industry is the topic local historian Jacob Winge will discuss as part of the Estero Historical Society’s Speaker Series at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, April 12, at Country Creek Country Club. Tickets $15 for members, $20 for non-members. Then on Saturday, April 26, the Swamp Blues Band will perform, bringing the authentic sounds of the swamp to life. Estero Park to host EGGStravaganza featuring the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt on April 19, 2025
Estero EGGStravaganza will feature an adaptive egg hunt beginning at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 19, at Estero Park, 9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd. The egg hunts and the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny are for children age 12 and under. The cost is $5 per child. Bring your camera and basket. Preregistration is required by calling 239-533-1470, online at www.leeparks.org/register or at the Estero Recreation Center. Estero Fest 2025 – fun for everyone
Estero Fest 2025 offers something for everyone to enjoy from 1-8 p.m. on March 15. There will be 4 live bands, 11 food trucks, a beer & wine garden, a Kids Zone, a business expo, Estero Fire Rescue and Lee County Sherriff’s Office displays, and Estero Councilmembers celebrating the Village’s 10th anniversary with handouts. You’re invited to the ribbon cutting ceremony for Estero’s “new” Jeff Sommer Stadium August 23, 2024
Residents are invited to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new, professional-level turf field at Jeff Sommer Stadium at 5 p.m. Friday, August 23. The celebration will feature music, food trucks and remarks from Village and school officials. Then at 7:30 p.m., watch the Estero Wildcats compete against the Riverdale Raiders in their first game of the season.
