Newly renovated library in Estero to open on December 18

  The South County Regional Library will welcome back residents to the newly renovated building starting at 9 a.m., Thursday, December 18. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., Monday through Wednesday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., on Thursday, and 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., on Friday and Saturday at their 21100 Three Oaks Parkway location. FineMark Bank is holding their shredding event from 9 – 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 13. Paper clips and staples are ok; no 3-ring binders. You may bring all your shreddable items to their parking lot at 10010 Coconut Road. There is also a shredding event at 9 – 11 a.m., Saturday, November 8 at the John E. Manning Government Complex, 1039 S.E. 9th Place in Cape Coral. Limit 3 banker boxes per car.

Residents will be able to dispose of household chemical waste safely and responsibly from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22. Items will not be accepted either before or after that time period.
