Estero Crossing was applying for a development order for the commercial part of their project, along with their monument signs. The site is located on the south side of Corkscrew Road, 1,000 feet west of the intersection of Corkscrew Road and I-75. Estero Country Club expansion – public hearing The applicant was requesting a limited development order for a 2,169 square foot expansion of the existing clubhouse, to construct 2 new bocce ball courts, replace the temporary pickle ball courts with permanent courts and to modify the parking and landscaping in the area. The pickle ball courts will be further away from residents than the temporary pickle ball courts were, and the courts will not be lit. Estero is forming a Planning, Zoning & Design Board as a result of adopting its new Land Development Code. This new Board will combine the functions of the current Planning & Zoning Board and Design Review Board duties. The Board will review applications for rezonings, comprehensive plan amendments, site plan approvals (development orders), and similar items for conformance with the Village Land Development Code and Comprehensive Plan.
