Texas Roadhouse architectural design approved by the Design Review Board on January 23, 2019
Public Hearing The Design Review Board approved the architectural plans for the Texas Roadhouse restaurant at Shoppes at Estero Grande at their meeting on January 23 with the stipulation that the colors of the building are checked against the Estero Grande Pattern Book. Design Review Board approved new Hertz Arena proposal on December 12, 2018
The Design Review Board conducted a public hearing on December 12 to review the proposed repainting of the exterior surfaces of Hertz Arena. Representatives from Hertz met with neighboring communities to the arena, Tidewater and Grandezza, to address their new proposed paint palette. Hertz demonstrated the views of the arena from the neighboring communities. They addressed where the color yellow would be intrusive to the neighbors, i.e., Tidewater to the north, so the new proposal does not include yellow in that portion of the building, as well as no yellow banding around the roofline at that portion of the building. Clarion Consultants presented the Land Development Code Assessment at a joint meeting of the Planning & Zoning Board and the Design Review Board on October 16 .
