The DOH COVID-19 dashboard is also providing updates once per day. The state also provides a report detailing surveillance data for every Florida county, which is available here. The Estero Historical Society is looking for volunteers with unique experience. With the departure of long-time volunteers, they need help with the following: Librarian/Archivist: The Archivist-Librarian performs a variety of professional tasks involving the acquisition, accession, organization, and preservation of Historical Society archival and library materials; ensures their accessibility to the public; and performs research in support of Historical Society operations. (Updated 7/17/2020 at 5:00 pm) Today’s Stats As of today, Lee Health has: 317 COVID-19 patients isolated in our hospitals Submitted 37,476 specimens for testing Discharged 1,494 patients since the start of the pandemic 404 employees quarantined (due to travel, community exposure and screening); 43 exposed at work and positive for COVID-19 Currently 64% of our ventilators and 9% of our ICU rooms are available for use Current census is at 98.3% of staffed operational bed capacity, with 24.8% of those being COVID-19 patients.
