Estero Wildcats girls soccer team set for District Semifinals on January 29
The Estero High School girls soccer team is scheduled to play the District Semifinals at their home field against the Gulf Coast soccer team at 7 p.m., Tuesday. Estero’s team won the District playoff with the South Fort Myers Wolfpack by a score of 8-0 on January 25. Fans were dressed in blue in support of the Wildcats. Come out Tuesday…wear blue…support the team.

Texas Roadhouse architectural design approved by the Design Review Board on January 23, 2019
Public Hearing The Design Review Board approved the architectural plans for the Texas Roadhouse restaurant at Shoppes at Estero Grande at their meeting on January 23 with the stipulation that the colors of the building are checked against the Estero Grande Pattern Book. Proclamations Mayor Boesch read a proclamation to be presented to Senior Project Manager Kate Brown and The Trust for Public Land recognizing the extraordinary and tireless efforts of Ms. Brown and The Trust for Public Land in bringing the Village Partners LLC and the Village of Estero together for the successful purchase of the Estero on the River land purchase. Vice-Mayor Bill Ribble named President of the Southwest Florida League of Cities Board
On January 22, 2019, the Southwest Florida League of Cities (SWFLC), announced its 2019 officers, with the Village of Estero’s Vice-Mayor Bill Ribble named President. Estero does not currently have uniform standards for traffic signals, street lights or traffic signs.
