Estero Wildcats girls soccer team set for District Semifinals on January 29

The Estero High School girls soccer team is scheduled to play the District Semifinals at their home field against the Gulf Coast soccer team at 7 p.m., Tuesday. Estero’s team won the District playoff with the South Fort Myers Wolfpack by a score of 8-0 on January 25.  Fans were dressed in blue in support of the Wildcats. Come out Tuesday…wear blue…support the team.

Public Hearing The Design Review Board approved the architectural plans for the Texas Roadhouse restaurant at Shoppes at Estero Grande at their meeting on January 23 with the stipulation that the colors of the building are checked against the Estero Grande Pattern Book. On January 22, 2019, the Southwest Florida League of Cities (SWFLC), announced its 2019 officers, with the Village of Estero’s Vice-Mayor Bill Ribble named President. Other Board officers will be City of Bonita Springs Councilman Fred Forbes as Vice President; City of La Belle Commissioner Julie Wilkins as Treasurer; and City of Sanibel Vice-Mayor Mick Denham as Secretary.
