Grease and oil damage septic tanks

If your home uses a septic system, never pour grease, oil, or chemical down your drains. These substances can kill the bacteria that treat your waste water in the tank. The county provides multiple ways to dispose of hazardous liquids - which can be found at: https://estero-fl.gov/for-residents/hazardous-waste-disposal. Veterans Day at Estero Park

On a sunny Saturday, November 13, the Village honored all Estero veterans, active military, first responders and Gold Star parents at the Estero Park. The event was attended by approximately 500 residents who enjoyed military theme songs, a presentation of flags by the Estero High School ROTC, rifle salute by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and featured speaker former Blue Angels pilot Lee County Commissioner Ray Sandelli. The Village of Estero recognizes its Planning, Zoning & Design Board members as part of the World Town Planning Day celebration.  These volunteers give freely of their time, spending many hours to help achieve the Village's vision. They review all Village projects, focusing on architectural and landscape design.
