Winter weather impacting the central and eastern regions of the US has caused shipping delays for first dose COVID-19 vaccines in Lee County. First doses appointments scheduled for tomorrow, February 17 are rescheduled for Thursday, February 25 at the same time. The Estero High School girls varsity soccer team became district champs for the fourth consecutive year in their game against Naples with a score of 4-3.   Their record stands at 14-2-2, scoring an average 6 goals per game. The YMCA is providing swim instructions and water safety to Estero’s children from underserved communities through a special agreement with the Village of Estero starting February 15. The Village negotiated with the YMCA to provide environmental education at the children’s camp, Camp Estero, on Corkscrew Road throughout the year.  This water safety program is an extension of that agreement.
