Design Review Board conducted pubic information meetings for Estero Country Club, Clean Machine Car Wash and Corkscrew Crossing on January 13, 2021
The Estero Country Club at The Vines was requesting review of a 2,169 square foot expansion of their existing clubhouse, and their proposal to construct 2 new bocce ball courts, replace the temporary pickle ball courts with permanent courts and to modify the parking and landscaping in the area. The applicant stated that the paddles and balls used on the bocce ball courts are designed to reduce the noise of play by 30-35 percent and the courts will not be used at night in consideration of neighbors. Estero High School girls soccer teams scheduled competition this month
Estero High School girls varsity team The Estero High girls junior varsity and varsity soccer teams are scheduled for three local/home games coming up this month. Land Development Code reviewed by Council on January 13, 2021
Council reviewed proposed changes to the Land Development Code during this workshop. The Land Development Code lays out zoning and other regulations for subdivisions and development of land. Council suggested several changes to the proposed revisions. Public Comment: 2 people made their comments known at the meeting. Florida Department of Health and Lee County Government announce opening of vaccine reservations this week
The Florida Department of Health-Lee (FDOH) and Lee County government announced today that there is enough vaccine supply to schedule about 1,800 additional appointments Thursday and Friday, Jan. 14 and 15, at the site near Southwest Florida International Airport for seniors and frontline healthcare workers. After that, there will be no FDOH-Lee vaccine supply remaining this week. The reservation slots are expected to be claimed quickly, likely within minutes.
