Council will start their meeting at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, addressing a budget amendment pertaining to the Corkscrew Road – Puente Lane traffic signal. Other topics include the Southwest Florida Regional Resiliency Compact (pertaining to local municipalities addressing the effects of climate change), monument sign locations at the north and south ends of US 41 and Three Oaks Parkway, and interviewing a perspective interim member of the Design Review Board. The Board conducted a public hearing for Lake Michigan Credit Union’s request for approval of the revised color scheme for the exterior of their existing building and to add two windows to the southern façade. They are retaining the stone knee wall and using a light and dark beige paint on the walls with a blue accent color. Lake Michigan Credit Union is located at  21910 S. The Board started with a public information meeting for the School District of Lee County.  The School District will be requesting a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to develop an elementary and middle school on Three Oaks Parkway. The 68.5-acre undeveloped parcel is located south of Copper Oaks, southeast of the Post Office and bounded by Three Oaks Parkway on the west and I-75 on the east.
