Lockwood House The meeting started with a short briefing on the Estero on the River property by Community Development Director Mary Gibbs and Public Works Director David Willems. This is the 67-acre property off of US 41 and Corkscrew Road. The portion of the property south of the river will be rezoned for park and open space public use. The Village plans to construct walking trails as the first phase. The property contains several older buildings and structures that had previously been identified as potential historical resources. The Board will start their meeting at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, with a brief presentation regarding the recent Cultural Resource Assessment Survey Update prepared for the Village by Archaeological Consultants, Inc. Spring Run Golf Club The Board started their meeting with a public information meeting for Spring Run Golf Club which is proposing to expand their clubhouse, add an outdoor bar and dining area for casual dining, one additional bocce ball court and an improved pool deck. They will be adding 14 – 17 new parking spaces for employee overflow parking. Abbiati Dental & Medical Office Building The Board conducted a public information meeting for the proposed Abbiati Emergency Dental Office Building located on a 1.45-acre vacant parcel on the west side of US 41, south of the Fountain Lakes entrance. Their preliminary plans call for 10,000-square feet for dental offices and possibly 5,000-square feet for general office use.
