The Shoppes at Coconut Point presented their plans to the Planning & Zoning Board on April 16. The applicant was requesting an amendment to the Coconut Point MPD/DRI to allow conversion of 6,000-square feet of retail to allow for rental of the 6,000-square feet for medical office space. This existing 25,000-square foot building is located at 8350 Hospital Drive, on the corner of Pelican Colony Boulevard and US 41. Public Hearing Aldi at Estero Town Center Representatives from Aldi presented during a public hearing at the Design Review Board meeting on April 10 2019. This is a proposed 22,149 square-foot grocery store which is located east of US 41 and directly north of Walmart at Estero Parkway. Joni and Joe Pavich (far right), J. Pavich Real Estate, recently presented a check to Three Oaks Elementary School Principal Jodi Moorhead (accepting the check) as part of Estero’s Education Initiative.  The money will be used to buy shirts for the 5th grade students for their graduation trip to Busch Gardens in May.
