Estero on the River land purchase, Estero Parkway budget, and branding and monument signage to be addressed by Council on Wednesday, December 12, 2018
Council will consider waiving contingencies and move to closing on the Estero on the River property at their meeting at 9:30 a.m., December 12. In addition, two separate potential actions are provided for Council’s consideration to establish the Estero Parkway project’s construction budget. Estero on the River bank loan, US 41 median landscaping and Estero Parkway among items addressed by Council on December 5, 2018 Action Items
Estero on the River 10-year Bank Loan Council approved awarding the fixed rate, 10-year bank loan RFP to Capital Bank, a division of First Tennessee Bank to provide funding for the Estero on the River land purchase. The purchase price of $26,000,000 will be funded by a down payment of $5,000,000 from the general fund and debt providing for the remainder of $21,000,000. Public Resources Advisory Group (PRAG) was engaged to develop the Request for Proposals and First Tennessee bank provided the lowest rate. Tesla showroom and Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar on the agenda for the Planning & Zoning Board meeting Tuesday, December 11, 2018
The Planning & Zoning Board will conduct public hearings for a Tesla showroom and the Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar, both located at Coconut Point Mall, at 5:30 p.m., December 11. The Design Review Board will conduct a public hearing to review the proposed repainting of the exterior surfaces of Hertz Arena at their meeting at 5:30 p.m. on December 12. Light up Estero…a special event
It was a perfect weather day for the Rotary Club of Estero’s 5th Annual Light up Estero at the Estero Community Park on December 1, 2018. Children’s activities on the lawn included Christmas light basket toss, wreath toss and being treated to balloon sculptures. Public Hearing Estero Grande Representatives for Estero Grande were requesting approval for the first of three proposed monument signs for their development. This sign is for the Shoppes of Estero Grande, which is located west of US 41 at the intersection of Estero Parkway and US 41. This monument sign will be along the US 41 main entrance.
