Estero Wildcats (16-4-2) will face Braden River in the first round of regional playoffs at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. They will play at Riverdale High School in Fort Myers since a new polyurethane track is going in at Estero High School which will take two weeks to install and a month to cure. The Wildcats became district champions with their 3-0 win over the Gulf Coast girls soccer team on January 29.

“Recognition Policy” In the wake of the Lee County action to remove the designation for the “Don Eslick Bridge”, Council discussed setting a policy for recognizing those people who have made significant contributions to the Estero community. Council asked staff to look at how other municipalities recognize special efforts and/or contributions made by its citizens. Want to improve walking and biking in Estero?  This is your chance. The Estero Community Input Map is the first step in a larger effort to improve walking and biking in the Village. The Estero High School girls soccer team is scheduled to play the District Semifinals at their home field against the Gulf Coast soccer team at 7 p.m., Tuesday. Estero’s team won the District playoff with the South Fort Myers Wolfpack by a score of 8-0 on January 25.  Fans were dressed in blue in support of the Wildcats. The Village of Estero is looking to develop a “brand” that represents Estero’s unique qualities to be used on roadway monument signs and other products.
