Street lights on US 41

By |June 25th, 2018|Categories: News|Comments Off on Street lights on US 41

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has installed street lights along the entire section of US 41 located within the Village. Unfortunately, during the testing phase, it was discovered there is a defect within the lights. Once the lights have been replaced, FDOT’s contractor will conduct a seven-day burn to test the new lights. After passing the test, the street lights will be turned over to the Village. The Village will be responsible for operation and maintenance of the lights. A portion of the costs will be reimbursed by FDOT.
