Proclamations Council started the meeting with a proclamation for the FGCU students who recently received the Governor’s Cup Award. This award is sponsored by the Roundtable of Entrepreneurship Educators of Florida to advance entrepreneurship across the state. The students were awarded the Governor’s Cup for developing “RoomDig”, an exclusive housing app for college students. Lee County Utilities will be temporarily converting its disinfectant process from chloramines to free chlorine residual from May 1 through May 29, 2018. This is a routine measure common among water utilities that use chloramines as a primary disinfectant. Public Hearing Chase Bank Representatives for Chase Bank were requesting a development order for the bank which is to be located at 10801 Miromar Outlet Drive, northwest corner of Miromar Outlet Drive and Ben Hill Griffin Parkway. Zoning Hearings Ordinance No. 2018-04 – Arcos Executive Center Council heard the first reading of this ordinance for the Arcos Executive Center located in the Plaza Del Sol at the northeast corner of Corkscrew Road and Three Oaks Parkway.
