Public Hearing Estero Dialysis at Corkscrew Palms Estero Dialysis at Corkscrew Palms was requesting a development order for their proposed 7,226 ± square foot medical office building with porte-cochere at 9431 Corkscrew Palms Circle, approximately 300 feet east of the Estero Village Hall. They added a public seating area on the northwest corner of their building and removed some of the parking spaces to allow for the porte-cochere, but still have 48 spaces when only 29 spaces are required. Lee County food-rescue campaign begins as seasonal residents head north – Estero Recreation Center
Lee County Solid Waste has created “Donated not Wasted,” a food rescue campaign to encourage seasonal residents and visitors to donate unopened pantry items before returning north. About 70,000 tons, or 13 percent, of the waste stream in Lee County is food, according to a 2016 waste audit. Nationwide, Americans throw out about 30 percent of the available food supply. Large turnout for the Village’s 3rd anniversary celebration in the park
A crowd of approximately 750 locals came to the Estero Community Park to join in the celebration of the Village of Estero’s 3rd anniversary. The party started at 6 p.m. with the music of Billy Dean & Dawn, one of Southwest Florida’s most versatile musical groups who also happen to be Estero residents. Children enjoyed the face painting and crafts along with the stilt walker who created balloon figures and bracelets for them.
