Florida Department of Health and Lee County Government announce opening of vaccine reservations this week
The Florida Department of Health-Lee (FDOH) and Lee County government announced today that there is enough vaccine supply to schedule about 1,800 additional appointments Thursday and Friday, Jan. 14 and 15, at the site near Southwest Florida International Airport for seniors and frontline healthcare workers. After that, there will be no FDOH-Lee vaccine supply remaining this week. The reservation slots are expected to be claimed quickly, likely within minutes. Safely dispose of your household chemicals at Estero Community Park January 20, 2021
Residents will be able to safely and responsibly dispose of household chemical waste, such as leftover paints, cleaners, herbicides, pesticides, automotive fluids and pool chemicals, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2021. The collection, hosted in partnership with Lee County Solid Waste, will be held at the Estero Community Park, 9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd. Drop off is an easy, drive-through process available to all residents at no charge. Council to conduct workshop on the Land Development Code on Wednesday, January 13, 2021
Council will start at 9:30 a.m., to review the Land Development Code which lays out zoning and other regulations for subdivisions and development of land.
