Proposed Riverfront Land Purchase Workshop Village Manager Steve Sarkozy briefed Council and a packed Council Chambers on a prospective environmental land purchase. This is 62 acres on the northeast corner of US 41 and Corkscrew Road and extends north to the Estero United Methodist Church and east to the railroad tracks. Lee County has launched a webpage that will allow residents, property owners and businesses to keep up to date on the response to red tide in the Gulf of Mexico and blue-green algae in the Caloosahatchee River and area canals. Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to update community regarding Corkscrew Road/I-75 improvements on August 16, 2018
FDOT will inform the community about planned improvements to the I-75 at Corkscrew Road interchange in a Public Information Meeting at 5 p.m., Thursday, August 16 in the Village Council Chambers at 9401 Corkscrew Palms Circle.
