The Village of Estero is closely monitoring Hurricane Dorian as it progresses northward along the eastern coast of Florida, along with our partners in Lee County and the Estero and San Carlos Park Fire teams. Likely Impact: Hurricane Dorian is presently a category 3 storm, though it is not expected to provide a significant impact to Estero. Council will conduct a first public hearing for the tentative ad valorem tax rate and budget at their meeting at 5:30 p.m. on September 4. The final public hearing and adoption of the ad valorem tax rate and budget is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on September 18. Florida Cancer Specialists presented to the Design Review Board on August 14, 2019
Workshop Representatives for Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute presented their plans for an infusion center to be located east of US 41 and south of Pelican Colony Blvd., adjacent to Extra Space Storage. They are planning a single-story facility with a public space healing garden. The building as proposed will have 3 tile roof towers to add undulation, with stucco and stone elevations.
