Estero Concert Series’ announces 5th season of chamber music concerts
Featured solo artists are Daniela Shtereva (left) on violin and Belina Kostadinova (right) on piano. “A romantic journey through Europe” will initiate the fifth season of unique chamber music concerts provided by the Estero Concert Series at the Koreshan State Historic Site’s Art Hall. Design Review Board conducts first public information workshop
The Design Review Board (DRB) held its first public information workshop on June 10, 2015. Both the DRB and the Planning and Zoning Board (PZB) will be conducting public information workshops which allow Estero residents an opportunity to learn about proposed projects and to provide their input before final decisions have been reached about the developments. The DRB reviews applications regarding appearance and design, landscaping, pedestrian and vehicular connectivity, and open space of developments in the Village of Estero. Community Development Director and Village Clerk added to Village of Estero staff
The Village of Estero has hired Mary Gibbs to serve as the Village’s Community Development Director and Kathleen Hall to serve as the Village Clerk. Mary Gibbs recently retired from serving as the Director of Community Development for Lee County. She had 30 years’ experience working with the County and during her tenure she had become known as a leader in one-stop permitting and other process efficiencies, including the expansion of electronic services. Lee Memorial Health System (LMHS) is committed to providing a one-of-a kind health and wellness destination at Coconut Point by 2017, as demonstrated in the recent release of their vision statement.
