The Planning & Zoning Board and Design Review Board conducted a joint meeting for a presentation of the proposed Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. A consultant for the project reviewed the fact that there had been a number of ways for the community to participate in the planning process.  Over 1,000 comments were made online, there were focus groups with a mix of people representing the chamber of commerce, business, the park, etc., and two public workshops were conducted. The applicant was requesting an amendment to the Coconut Point MPD/DRI to allow conversion of 6,000-square feet of retail to allow for rental of the 6,000-square feet for medical office space.
